Thank you for all the fine food and great service that we have had at your restaurant. The quality of food, selection of dishes and extra touches make each visit something we look forward to. There really is something for everyone, and the staff have great knowledge of the ingredients,which is especially nice for vegetarians and food allergy sufferers. The restaurant is equally as good for a quick early bird special banquet (wallet pleaser),right through to the most important and special occasions. 100% The best oriental food experience of my life, and believe me I have experienced some superb oriental food. From the initial phone call to the welcome, service, presentation, flavour and value they did not drop one ball. A special note must go to the level of consideration given to my gluten intolerant girlfriend. She was fully understood and catered for, which is an unfortunate rarity. Christine is utterly superb at her job and you will not be let down. Very well done, guys. We will see you soon!

Although the restaurant was busy last night we were found a table in minutes. The friendly helpful staff made us feel very welcome and the food arrived quickly and was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were attentive and regularly asked if there was anything we wanted. Now we have been, there is no other chinese restaurant for us. I would particularly like to thank the member of staff who greeted us upon arrival, found us a table quickly, looked after us throughout our meal and opened the door for us when we left. He made quite an impression on us with his exceptional service. Thank you, we will come again very soon.

I have had nothing but positive experiences when visiting the All New Ho Lee Chow. In fact, each experience just gets better and better. Friendly service, tailored to the needs of the clients, reasonable prices, tasty food and a business that remembers the customers.

I have recently found that I have a wheat allergy - something that makes dining out a nightmare. However, there is no cause for concern when dining here. Not only will they make sure your dishes are wheat/gluten free, they have changed their recipes for items, for example tasty Prawn Crackers (which, I swear, are better than the wheat versions) and will happily make adjustments to the banquet menus, where possible, including the Early Bird menu.

For example, when I last visited the restaurant, the group I was with decided to go for the Early Bird menu. I thought I would have to miss out on the platter course because of the contents. However, adjustments were made so that I could have just as many dishes as my companions (ribs, chicken wings, pickled vegetables, prawn ball). Their reason for changing the menu - "You don't want a change because you don't like something - it's because you physically can't have something". What a wonderful experience.

Hi Christine. I was so excited about having my first Chinese meal since being diagnosed as Coeliac and it lived up to my expectations. It was delicious. I would recommend other people who need gluten free food to go to your restaurant.

Wonderful food, great service and lovely contemporary surroundings. We would have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to family and friends.

First of all I would like to confirm how pleasant and welcoming the Ho Lee Chow is, these days you can't always guarantee that restaurant staff will be up to the mark, this is definately not the case for the Ho Lee Chow, Christine and her front of house staff are exceptional at making sure their guests receive a happy experience.

If you order a banquest for take-away it is most certianly the best you will ever have and the presentation is out of this world.

The real proof is to visit yourself and enjoy!

We attended a business event at Ho Lee Chow last week and were very impressed from the minute we walked through the door. The atmosphere was great and the food exceptional, not to mention the service. Having not known about the restaurant despite being fairly local, we will definitely be returning to eat again and will be passing this restaurant on to friends and family.

Myself, daughter and partner booked tickets for the Chinese New Year celebration on 19th February 2010. The set menu was delicious and more than enough food for the 3 of us. We had the best seats in the house the entertainment was second to none,my 9yr old daughter especially loved the Chinese Dragons. We were sat agape in amazment at the martial arts they were fantastically fast. Bailey is learning chinese Mandarin at school and with the help of Ling she managed to get some practise in. A big thankyou to Christine and all her staff who were the friendliest and most attentive I've ever come across, thankyou so much for a memorable evening. Looking forward to the next time Lx

my husband and myself came from liverpool to your restaurant and had such a lovely time the atmosphere is so relaxed the staff ever so friendly and the restaurant spotlessly clean the toilets are immaculate...there was nothing we could not fault, the food was delicious we will be back on a regular basis.. thankyou all for your hospitality...

The Food and staff are simply the Best in Chinese cuisine we have experienced any where on our travels.

We had a party of 19 and all had a fantastic time. Staff couldn't of been more helpful or friendly. Lots of choice for vegetarians. Definitely will return.

You've tried the rest...now try the BEST! Delicious freshly cooked food everytime. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the chefs and staff. Excellent service and wouldn't ever go anywhere else.

What a super Reunion for a group of eleven of us who met 10 years ago on a visit to China!
The food was fabulous..so fresh, so beautifully cooked and so well presented.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Every one was friendly...what a great team!
Everywhere was lovely and clean and there were plenty of wet-wipes for our hands.

I celebrate my 70th Birthday to-morrow and my daughter told me and my husband to be ready for 7p.m and they would pick us up and take us to a secret restaurant. I was a bit apprehensive when we arrived at Ho Lee Chow's but I needn't have been. We have had the most fantastic night ever. The staff were absolutely amazing and pulled out all the stops to make our evening special.The food is wonderful and there is such a lot of choice and it is so nicely cooked. It was so relaxing, which is what we wanted as we were a party of 8 who wanted to socialise and chat to each other inbetween courses. The decor is lovely and the whole place is spotlessly clean. It was a delight to share our evening with such lovely people. I would like to thank you very much for your hospitality and your wonderful food and service. WE SHALL BE BACK!!!

Thank you for a lovely mothers day banquet. The food was all delicious, especially the hot and sour soup! We had a lovely relaxing time in gorgeous surroundings, with great service. A top quality restaurant where you are always made to feel welcome, even with a messy 1 year old! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting the highest standard of food and service in comfortable and authentic surroundings.

A wonderful meal for 6 on Mother's Day, the food and service were excellent, probably the best Chinese food we have experienced outside of the West End. We have already told our friends about Ho Lee Chows and some of them said they thought it had closed, "because from the outside you wouldn't know it was open"; I think they have a point and a more attractive frontage or better signage would pull more customers in. Once they got inside the door they'd soon realise how good everything is and come back for more.

What a gem, fantastic restaurant hiding behind a plain facade! It's like the Tardis, when you get inside it is so much bigger than it looks,and the decor is a mix of Eastern style and Victorian English elegance.
Immaculately clean, fantastic food delivered by friendly and helpful staff.
We were allowed to choose how fast or slow we wanted to take our meal, which as we had kids with us was really helpful- they enjoy eating out but it helps if the food keeps coming as they finish each course in our family...
